With a background in biomedical science, food security and public health, Alice leads on research and storytelling at Rooted, which specialises in tackling food systems challenges and translating complex science into public-facing insights. Her current lab project at Aston University focuses on scaling stem cell production using fungal-derived scaffolds. She has been featured on BBC News, Forbes, National Geographic and Green Queen and is also a PhD researcher in CellAg.
